The prevalence of social, economic, mental and cultural pathologies is among the most important costs during and after the war. Most of them were imposed on cities’ context. Nevertheless, the most important pathology imposed during imposed war on the country was economic one which provided sufficient background for incidence of other pathologies. In fact, Iran-Iraq war is categorized as one of the most destructive conflicts in the recent years of the 20th century. Bombardment of residential areas, the destruction of many economic centers, and customers’ avoidance of buying Iran’s oil, attack on industrial areas and factories’ bombardment- during imposed war about 6% of enemy’s raids was in industrial areas- attack on agricultural and animal husbandry areas, unemployment and inflation, lack of essential investment on construction and infrastructure fields, and the growth of false jobs imposed severe blows on economy of Iran and it caused the country lose largely its capability in order to create facilities and economic growth. But, all enemies’ measures including coup, war, terrorism, cultural invasion, military attack on Iranian aircraft and ships, military, technical and intellectual equipment of hypocrites, direct entry in the Tabas desert adventure and etc. failed because of strengths of people and the Supreme Leader. What is clearly seen is focus and attempt of enemies in hitting economic structures and weakening economic fundamentals. In fact, enemies take advantage of current deficiencies in economy as a new weapon against Iran. They followed comprehensive economic sanctions and they imposed volume of sanctions so that the Supreme Leader called this enemies’ strategy as economic war.

It is obvious that the enemy’s goal is creating dissatisfaction among people, as main advocates of the system, by launching this economic war with economic pressures and general dissatisfaction increase due to inflation, unemployment and wealth reduction, weakening economic and political foundations and failure of Islamic Republic patters in the world as an efficient religious system. 

In this regard, the supreme Leader, with his wisely knowledge, identified the enemy’s strategy and introduced the idea of resistive economy as the only solution against enemies’ measures. A short-term strategy can help economy of the country in the current dangerous situation and it can provide strengthening fields and further economic growth and removing weaknesses changing Iran into a model for all Muslims and non-Muslims countries of the  region and  in the world  in long-term.

It should be considered that explaining various obvious and hidden aspects of resistive economy by the elites and academic community, not being as a slogan of this model among officials at different levels, pathology of weaknesses in economy of Iran, presenting strategies in order to improve economic infrastructures, majority participation of the public in economic and cultural issues, resistive economy, measurement and monitoring minute by minute are the requirements of achieving this model.
