In fact, urban sustainable development is the process of creating sustainable city and suitable for the life of citizens according to their needs now and future. Urban sustainable development needs a success in achievement of urban qualitative goals, providing social justice, equality of present and future generation and also keeping urban natural sources. Urban sustainable development is a combination of cultural, social, economic, political and environmental development. Along with urban sustainable development as topic of international and accepted in the society, economic requirements of the country should be considered too. Achieving urban sustainable development in the conditions of sanctions faces with different problems and increase of costs, and it confronts the planning of policy-makers and urban managers with types of challenges, but resistive economy model can provide the context for urban sustainable development even in the conditions of foreign pressures. To demonstrate resistance economy model in a better way, referring to the general policies of resistive economy issued by the supreme leader is very useful.

Twenty four-point of these policies is helpful in urban economics field and they can provide the context for one of the aspects of urban sustainable development. Following points are the most important ones of it:

Activation of all the facilities, financial sources and human and scientific capitals of country in order to develop entrepreneurship and maximizing the public participation in economic activities in the 1st point of these policies can be interpreted by utilizing facilities to develop urban entrepreneurship and using ideal capacity of citizens in the development of activities of urban economics.

Focus on productivity growth in economy by strengthening production factors, empowering the workforce and utilizing capacity and various flexibilities in geography of the areas of the country in the 3rd point of these policies about urban affairs can be very influential by empowering the guilds and citizens to increase efficiency in urban economics.

Using the capacity of implementation of targeting subsides in order to increase the product, employment and efficiency and reducing energy intensity and promoting social justice in point 4 can be very effective in urban field.

Clarifying and smoothing distribution and pricing system and updating methods of monitoring the market in point 23 can be very helpful in urban economics field and it leads to produce urban dynamic and fair pricing system and impact positively on the macro economy.

Finally, resistive economy policies are considered as great potentials to provide necessary context for deepening urban sustainable development.
