Referring to the naming of the Iranian year 1395 as “economy of resistance; implementation and action” by the supreme leader, Seyyed Mohsen Tabatabaei Mozdabadi, the secretary of IUESA said: one of the least-considered and important aspects of economy of resistance is the issue of knowledge-based economy highlighted by the supreme Leader many times.

Saying that one way to develop and improve the power of internal economy is moving toward knowledge-based economy, the secretary of IUESA said: it is necessary to access and reform legally and institutionally to support knowledge-based economy in 2016.

Emphasizing that the results of an academic research has a direct relationship with development of knowledge-based economy indexes and GDP, he said, it improves GDP 1.12 percent.
